Wishing to express gratitude to doctors and other medical workers who are fighting Covid-19 infection, “Nākotnes Atbalsta fonds” (Future Supporting Fund) has given the leading Latvian hospitals invitations to the performance of the “Golden Mask” international theatre festival.
For more than a year, the Covid-19 pandemic demands enormous strength from medical personnel around the world, so “Nākotnes Atbalsta fonds” (Future Supporting Fund) would like to thank those Latvian medical workers who daily look after Covid-19 patients, and to provide them an opportunity to travel to the music world with internationally recognised opera stars.
“Nākotnes Atbalsta fonds” (NAF), founded by Rietumu Bank, provided financial support to a Christian summer camp for children and youth with special needs “Gaismas talanti 2021”.
Rietumu Bank Charity Fund (“Rietumu Bankas labdarības fonds”), founded on 13 April 2007, has recently been renamed. The new name of the fund is “Nākotnes Atbalsta fonds” (Future Supporting Fund).
This season – from July to September – after a forced one-year break caused by Covid-19 pandemic, concerts and other events by “Riga Jurmala”, the largest music festival in the Baltic Region, will recently take place in Riga and Jurmala.
From 3 June, in Riga, in the territory of the former Bolshevichka factory, an art park is open called “Mobile Museum. Next Season”.
