In 2013 Latvia starts to introduce a favorable tax regime for international holding companies. This will bring the Baltic country in a line with such popular European low-tax brands as Cyprus, Malta, Netherlands and Luxembourg. It is expected that businessmen from CIS countries, particularly Russians, will be among the first who do not fail to take advantage of new opportunities.
Today the International School of Goaltending headed by Vladislav Tretiak and the Latvian national team’s goalkeeper Sergey Naumov starts classes at the Volvo ice arena in Riga. These classes will be attended by more than 50 young hockey-players from the Baltic Region, Russia, Spain, Germany, Canada and other countries. The event is traditionally organised with the support of Rietumu Bank.
